Support for market-oriented Research and Development (R&D) activities in the Central Hungarian region

The aim of the project is to develop a web application based on a language technology solution that collects, organizes and evaluates eco-innovations, and automatically recommends them to interested businesses after an online audit, regardless of the sector.

Eco-innovation appears on both the supply and demand side, as in addition to already existing, working green technology solutions, we are constantly looking for improved versions, technological and procedural innovation towards sustainable development. It would be important to introduce the technologies even in the experimental phase as a prototype to the companies partnering together, generating knowledge transfer in this rapidly evolving field. New opportunities are opened up for businesses through the use of eco-innovations, and green alternatives are offered to planned investments and purchases.

At the same time, there is an increasing barrier of development due to the lack of relevant knowledge (knowledge gaps) in the field: due to the lack of awareness and information, there is currently no direct link between the supply and demand side. The demand for green technologies on the demand side is very often not present because businesses are unaware of the possibilities and are not aware of the cost-saving factors of the solutions.

It is not surprising that most of the currently available databases are not efficient enough and their content is not up-to-date, both because currently there is no uniform methodology for the business use of eco-innovations and the online knowledge content in this field is changing extremely rapidly and is growing exponentially.
