ITACA: knowledge transfer - competence system

The “ITACA - IT Administrator Competences Development and Acknowledgment” project aims to encourage cooperation between educational institutions and businesses in the field of IT in order to improve the quality of training systems and enable students to enter the world of work with a competitive degree and preparation.

Within the framework of the project, the Hungarian technical vocational secondary schools and higher education institutions will get to know and adopt the EUCIP competence framework, adopt and implement the basic and full version of “IT Administrator” training program developed by EUCIP.

The e-Competence Framework (eCF), developed by the Council of European Professional Informatics Societies (CEPIS), is adopted at European level and is operated by AICA in Italy and FEE in Spain. The system developed for companies and professionals consists of the following elements:

  • detailed thematics (curriculum),
  • a self-assessment test with which anyone can create their own competence profile and assess their learning needs,
  • automated exams to assess theoretical knowledge,
